The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has officially released the results for the July 2025 Business and Technical Examinations administered in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
In a notice issued on Monday, KNEC announced that heads of institutions can now collect the results from Mitihani House in South C, Nairobi, during official working hours ; Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
“We wish to inform all Heads of Institutions that presented candidates for the July 2025 Business and Technical examinations that the results are now available for collection at the KNEC offices,” the notice read in part.
KNEC emphasized that only TVET institutions that have cleared all examination fee arrears will be allowed to collect the results.
KNEC further advised that any issues or discrepancies regarding the results should be submitted online by the Heads of Institutions within 30 days from the date of release. Queries made after December 3, 2025, will attract a penalty of Ksh 5,000.
All queries are to be lodged exclusively through the Query Management Information System (QMIS) portal.

The examination council notified institutions that advance instructions for the November 2025 examinations are also ready for collection at the KNEC offices.

This announcement follows shortly after the release of the 2025 Teacher Assessment and Examination results on October 21, which were made available through the Competency-Based Assessment Teacher Education (CBATE) portal.
The release of the July 2025 Business and Technical examination results comes at a time when the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations are officially underway.
This year, more than 960,000 candidates are sitting for the national exams as Kenya continues its transition from the 8-4-4 education system, which is expected to be fully phased out by 2027.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba recently announced that the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) will release the results for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) in December 2025, while the KCSE results are scheduled for release in January 2026.
